He’ll share all sorts of secrets from Sodor (including what each engine is really like) and lead your very own Steam Team in some fun party games, and can also wow your partygoers with balloon creations and face painting!

What happens at a Thomas the Tank Birthday themed kids party?
After we make our big entrance, we explain what it’s like to be a Train Driver on Sodor, with references to Thomas and all his friends!
To learn all about being Train Divers we play heaps of fun, interactive games that get the kids involved such as:
- Hide & seek – Thomas loves to play hide and seek with Gordon, Henry and James and would love for all his new friends to join in!
- Tips & races – one of Thomas’ favourite games is racing the other engines along the tracks, can you all pretend to be trains and race Thomas to the finish line?
- Musical statues – when the music stops slam on your brakes and STOP! Just like Thomas when he sees a danger signal!
- Red light-green light etc – Thomas wants to go on an adventure and needs your help to sneak past the Fat Controller!
- Testing their knowledge about Thomas and the other engines in Sodor with story and question time!

Thomas the tank engine is a narrow-gauge steam locomotive who works on the fictional island of Sodor. He’s the blue one, with a number 1 painted on his side, who’s a bit cheeky, but always striving to be Really Useful. Thomas has many friends on the island and his inner circle of buddies is called the Steam Team. The fat controller (aka Sir Topham Hatt) keeps Thomas and his friends and the railway running smoothly.

Party Information
All we need from you is:
- A good space: We can run a party in your backyard, a neighbourhood park, community centre or large indoor space
- Food and drinks: A party is a high energy, high intensity event with lots of fun and games, so make sure you have plenty of food and drinks available for the kids
- Cake: If you want it to be included in the show, be sure to have the birthday cake ready at least ten minutes before your entertainer has to exit. Don’t worry – he or she will give you a nod!
- Supervision: Although our entertainers take the utmost care to ensure the safety of all the children at your party, parental supervision is required at all times

- 15 children in a 60 mins event
- 20 children in a 75 mins event
- 25 children in a 90 mins event
For larger groups, we recommend 2 or more entertainers.
